CHECKPOINT UNIVERSE
About the show
Checkpoint Universe is a new immersive theatre show for children aged 6–10, created by migrant-led company 27 degrees and produced by Koro.
Following an intergalactic climatic emergency, children from different planets face a sudden call to leave their homes behind. With suitcases filled with objects from their home planets, families must navigate a treacherous journey to planet Azuria. As they navigate playful challenges and unfamiliar customs, they’re asked what it takes to belong - and what parts of their identity they are ready to leave behind.
Through games, immersive theatre, puppetry and a joyful final party, the show explores migration, identity, and community with imagination and care.
