Attention adventurers from across the universe, it’s time to pack your bags!

 

Checkpoint Universe will be a new immersive theatre show for children aged 6-11 and their grown-ups. This interactive show invites families to embark on a cosmic journey, exploring what it means to start anew while holding onto who we are.

​

Young voyagers from different planets come together for a trip like no other. As teams representing their home planets, they’ll craft their own unique cultures and prepare for an unexpected challenge - a sudden call to leave their world behind. With backpacks filled with objects from their planet, the teams must navigate a treacherous journey to an unknown destination, overcoming obstacles and making decisions that will shape their future.

Once they arrive, the young travellers face a series of playful but thought-provoking challenges to earn their place in the new planet's society. But will they have to leave behind parts of their identity to fit in? And how can the things they carry from home help them thrive in this new world?

With hands-on games, creative problem-solving, and a final party, Checkpoint Universe will be a heartfelt, immersive experience that celebrates both the journey and the destination. Perfect for families looking to explore big ideas through play.
